JarMaster

JarMaster Portable Jar Tester | Bluetooth & Mobile Integration

High-Torque Field Analysis: Standardised Jar Testing with Bluetooth Control

The JarMaster is a high-precision, Bluetooth-enabled portable stirrer designed for water treatment laboratories that require absolute control over multi-stage jar testing. Engineered to eliminate operator variability, it offers 0–350 RPM (overridable) precision in 1-RPM increments via optional touchscreen controller, with menu-driven programming, saved routines, and individual timers, audible alarms. Available in 4, 6, or 8-station configurations, the “as delivered” JarMaster features a built-in (overridable) 5-step program, and seamless mobile integration using the optional vehicle power pack to ensure consistent, repeatable results across every coagulation and flocculation test.

JarMaster The Precision Standard for Municipal Labs

The problem and the Boltac solution

The Operational Problem The Boltac JarMaster Solution
Mechanical Drift & Drive Slip Synchronised Precision Standard solid-coupled drive systems allow for inconsistent paddle speeds. Our proprietary Non-Slip Drive ensures every station moves at the exact same RPM (0–350 range) for flawless chemical dosing data.
Shift-to-Shift Inconsistency Set-and-Forget Programming The entire sequence from rapid mix to slow mix and settlement with 5-step internal digital programming only requires operator input for duration and interval during the test. This standardizes testing according to plant flow rates, regardless of which technician is on shift.
High-Volume Laboratory Wear Industrial-Grade Durability Built for daily use in municipal and industrial environments with rugged professional polycarbonate construction and optional 316 Stainless-Steel shafts that withstand harsh laboratory conditions (standard paddle shafts are acid-resistant engineering plastic).

Key Benefits

  • 0–350 RPM (overridable) with 1 RPM increments for precise speed control.

FAQ

Q: How do you ensure repeatable jar testing results in municipal laboratories?
A: Repeatable results are achieved through using the 5-step internal digital programming and a Zero-Slip Close-Coupled Drive system. The Boltac JarMaster (JM4/6/8) utilizes these features to ensure identical RPM across all 4, 6, or 8 stirring stations simultaneously. This eliminates the human error associated with manual speed adjustments and friction-based drives that “drift.” By locking the velocity gradient (G-Value) across all test beakers, municipal operators can ensure that laboratory results accurately translate to full-scale plant performance. A G-Value comparison label is attached to the stirrer and a G-Value to RPM graph is included in the printed manual supplied with the machine.
